Overview

Valet trash services provide a convenient, premium amenity for residents in multifamily communities, such as apartments, condos, and student or senior housing.

Valet trash services involve professional valets collecting bagged trash and recyclables directly from residents’ doorsteps, 2 - 5 or more (depending on your building schedule) nights per week. Residents place their trash in its container during a designated evening window, and valets transport it to onsite dumpsters or compactors. The service is designed to be convienient, save time, increase safety, keep communities clean, and enhance the living experience.

When will my service start? 

Once engaged we will add you to our schedule for your building and provide you your pickup days. Each building varies slightly.

How does it work?

Pickup Process:

Residents place their bins, containing tied trash or recycling bags, outside their door during a specified window, typically by 6:00 PM, on the designated pickup days.

 

Valets, identifiable by uniforms or badges, collect the bags and deliver them to onsite waste facilities.

 

For multiple bags, residents may“snow cone,” where one bag is stacked on top of another inside the bin, though limits apply (e.g., 2 bags per bin per pickup to avoid accidental hallway messes.

Post-Collection:

 

 

Residents must return their empty bins inside by a set time soon after or the next morning, typically 9:00 AM, to maintain community aesthetics and fire compliance.

 

Failure to comply may result in reminders or fines from property management.

Can I customize my service schedule?

Apartments / multifamily homes: We pick up on a set schedule each week. For logistics purposes we need to maintain a set schedule but reach out if needed we are always happy to make an accommodation.

Do I need to be home during pickup and return?

No, you don't need to be home during our service visits. Simply leave your trash cans in the designated pickup area on the scheduled day, and we'll take care of the rest. You will just need to ensure your cans are outside.

If there are changes to your pickup day due to holidays or other factors, we'll do our best to notify you in advance and reschedule your service accordingly. We send out routine texts to all opted in residents to help spread word. 

What happens if something falls through the cracks?

If your pickup is missed due to an error on our part we will apologize profusely and return to repeat the service if possible.  

Are there limits on what can be picked up?

Yes, limits include 1–2 bags per pickup (e.g., 2 bags per bin) and a weight cap of 15 lbs per bag. Prohibited items include bulk items (furniture, appliances), sharp objects, hazardous materials, and loose trash. If you need help procuring a sharps container or have bulk trash let us know, we can help get that or set up a special pickup. 

Is recycling included?

If your building has arranged for this, yes paper, cardboard, plastics, and cans, are collected along side regular trash per your buildings rules for how those should be disposed of.

Do you provide additional services?

Yes, we provide preferred rates from partners for bulk hauling or removal and moving services.
